This project demonstrates key transportation planning knowledge. I used Excel techniques to determine the impacts of increased traffic and potential mitigation interventions. Although this project focuses on a fictional city and uses some assumptions that wouldn’t be present in a real-world scenario, the foundational knowledge of an incremental loading model, economic base theory, and an origin-destination matrix can be applied to more realistic scenarios and situations.
